They have a few restaurants dotted around Sapporo, but my nearest one is at the back of Maruyama Koen in the Miyanomori area. I love the coconut soup with kakuni…….really nice creamy taste from the coconut cream but not too overpowering. The Kakuni is melt in your mouth goodness, with the meat flaking away and the fat turning to cream as soon as you bite it. This was the first place I tried coconut soup so maybe that skews my view but I love this place. Lots of vegetables, great tasting soup and kakuni that melts in your mouth…..what more do you want?! Oh yeah….and they deliver to your door if you can't be arsed heading out into the rain/snow/wind.

Sama is one of my favourite soup curry shops in town. I agree, the coconut soup is to die for. It's a bit smokey in the restaurant though.

Great Delivery

Yeah man! The soup curry at Sama is awesome. I've only had delivery from them, but the coconut, pork soup curry is definitely one of the best I've had in Sapporo. I usually get delivery from them about once a week, sometimes twice. It's that good. Maybe I should check out their restaurants one day?
