Oily noodles
Beifutei 米風亭 is an awesome little noodle bar that is famous for their oily soba. It's like ramen but without the soup. Sounds strange, but it works. The noodles are deliciously oily and are perfect as a late night drunken food. The portion is a nice size but this dish is so moorish, I often order another helping. There is other food on the menu, such as fried chicken or salads and what not, but nobody comes here for that, just the noodles. They have some pretty good foreign beers here too. A bowl of oily soba will cost you about 800 yen.
It's open late, until 4am so perfect for when you are on your way home after a night out. If you are planning to go in the early evening, around dinner time, and are in a group, I would recommend making a reservation, but other than that, walk-ins are no problem. I have never had to wait before.
