Noodles and soup separated

I went to this noodle place that serves soba and ramen because every time I went past it, it was packed with people and always had a huge line outside.
The noodles are delicious, big, thick and they give you a lot of them. It is the kind of restaurant that uses a vending machine. I ordered a standard house soba dish, called aratsukesoba, which was a salty soup noodle dish. They serve the noodles completely different than the usual way, of having the noodles in a bowl of soup (although you can order this kind, if you like). They serve the noodles in a separate bowl and the soup in a smaller bowl with some onions and a piece of pork. Then you dip the noodles in the soup. The soup was nice and salty and very filling. The dish cost me 780 yen. The place is small and can only probably fit about ten people on the counter and one table. I would definitely go back again and try the other dishes on the menu.
It's located on Hokudai Dori at North 16, West 4.
